On Saturday, May 20, students and instructors from the Milwaukee Junior Fire Institute were proud to participate in the 15th Anniversary Fight For Air Climb in support of the American Lung Association. Stepping alongside other members of the community, each participant climbed more than 1,500 stairs at American Family Field, continuing a longstanding tradition of JFI involvement.
JFI members have the opportunity to get an inside look at the fire department. Our experienced firefighters, who all volunteer their time to this initiative, are proud to provide the JFI’s exciting, hands-on learning opportunities. Participants simply need to show up with a good attitude and an open mind.
